Border Health Protection 
The Biosecurity Act including measures to respond and plan for biosecurity breaches. Specific courses on border health protection and advanced mosquito surveillance for Ministry of Health warranted officers and related agencies.
Compliance and Enforcement
Designed to train designated officers from Public Health Services to undertake compliance and enforcement functions of health sector legislation.
The General Compliance course focuses on collection of evidence and investigation and enforcement processes.

Advanced Compliance and Enforcement covers court processes, preparation of a brief of evidence, and presentation of evidence in a court setting.
Drinking Water Legislation specifically focuses on Drinking Water Assessor and designated officer roles and responsibility under the Health (Drinking Water) Amendment Act 2007.
Hazardous Substances 
Specifically designed for Enforcement Officers. The training covers the HSNO Act and Regulations; responsibilties under the Act and Regulations including Group Standards, process and procedures of enforcement and responsibilities of approved handlers and test certifiers.
Health Impact Assessment 
Training in the concept and practice of Health Impact Assessment using PHAC policy guidelines, MoH guidelines for Resource Consents, and policy and project levels HIAs.
Health Protection Forum 
Provides health protection personnel with up to date information on Ministry of Health policies, central and regional issues, legislative updates and topics of interest concerning health protection matters.
Noise Measurement and Control 
Noise measurement and assessment, interpreting noise data and calculation of the various noise metrics e.g. Leq, L10, desktop review and evaluation of noise projects, developing skills and best practice in checking acoustical information, formulating noise control for plans, consents and enforcement options.
Professional Development 
Topical issues relevant to Environmental Health and Public Health personnel, as well as exploring environmental and public health best practice and innovative methods of implementation.
Sewage Treatment and Disposal 
A two day workshop covering public health and environmental health issues associated with sewage treatment and disposal, including sewered and unsewered communities, review of the Ministry of Health's Sanitary Works Subsidy Scheme, treatment methodologies and technologies.
